“An amazing Art factory”

“ Although we can’t recommend the cafe unless you are after a cold drink and crisps, the shop and workshop are a must to visit. The variety of sculptures, bronzes and pottery made by the team there is staggering, most are copies of ancient works of art, some life size, some even bigger and some tiny. I can’t say whether they are good value for money, but by UK standards and for the quality they seemed pretty good to us. Highly recommended and don’t be surprised if you stay longer than you did in the last museum you visited! ”

“Fantastic Stop!”

“ We drove past the factory, noticed the Trojan horse out front, and turned around to go take a picture. We were warmly greeted and invited in for a behind-the-scenes tour. The owners told us stories of Greek mythology and current lore, and showed us the store room of antiques and re-purposed furniture. If we lived in Greece, or had tons of money, we would definitely purchase one of their unique tables made from old doors. The entire experience was a joyful one, and the owners could not have been friendlier. This is a stop that is definitely worth your time! ”

an amazing place

“ The Silo is a fascinating place to visit, whether for just a coffee and a look at the Trojan horse, or to explore more of the art work, especially the creations from recycled wood and other materials. And the owner and his family are warm and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable and informative. Don’t miss it if you are anywhere in the area of Corinth, Mycenae, Argos or Nafplio. ”

“ We visited Silo Art Factory in early August. Stelio, the owner and craftsman was tremendous and gave us a demonstration in clay molding. They have a spotless store and we bought a few items including a beautiful clay vessel. We asked if they could ship the items to our home in the US and they assured us they could do that safely. Two weeks later, out package arrived. Everything was perfect from the quality packing. Our kids had a blast at their store and everyone saw and wanted things that had historical relevance. Great! ”
